Whooga’s are hand crafted with a very special grading of twin faced merino fleece. This unique fleece creates a foot bed of warm air which is widely regarded to be the most comfortable and luxurious footwear in the world.

Sheepskin is able to warm so effectively by circulating air between the tiny and extremely springy fibres. These fibres are capable of bending over 20,000 times and still retain their springiness. No other material comes close to this level of performance and it is for this reason genuine Whooga boots are so warm. The denser and plusher fibres circulate more air meaning warmer toes.

Smooth inner fleece hugs your feet

In addition to being denser the inner fleece is softer and must be enjoyed without socks to be fully appreciated. The higher fibre density is more effective at distributing pressure on your feet which is how Whooga’s create a ‘walking on warm clouds’ sensation. The thicker/springer inner fleece hugs the contours of your feet without suffocating or applying any form of pressure.

Despite many manufacturers shifting to a mass produced construction method each and every pair of Whooga boots are still crafted by hand. Our boots have also undergone numerous design refinements to prevent common problems like sagging and a lack of heel support.
